READY TO VISIT?
We’re so excited that you’re planning on visiting Summit and we’re already preparing for it! If you click the button below and let us know that you plan to visit, then we will have a host ready and waiting for you to arrive! They’ll meet you at the front door, give you a tour of the place (including the kids ministry), and show you where the coffee is! The host will even sit with you (if you want – we know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea).
ARRIVAL TIME
Our service starts at 10:30 am at 133 S Hawkins Avenue in Akron. To make your experience as seamless as possible, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before service begins. This gives you time to grab a free cup of coffee and look at the kids ministry area (if you have kids in nursery through grade 5).
PARKING
Parking is located behind the building. Don’t worry about parking far away – get as close as possible! We want you to!
ENTERING THE BUILDING
The main entrance to Summit is located at the back of the building, facing the parking lot. When you first enter in, you’ll be greeted by someone at our Welcome Center. From there, you can grab a cup of coffee or tea (to the right of the door) or head to the auditorium (to the right of the lobby). No question is too small, so ask the Welcome Center anything!
KIDS
We have an exciting and safe environment for kids (babies through 5th grade) where they will learn, sing, dance, and play all during the 10:30 am service. Just check your kids in at the children’s ministry area a few minutes before. If you want a tour of the area, just let the Welcome Center know and someone will show you around!
Here’s what we won’t do:
Awkwardly make you stand up.
Have a strange meet-and-greet time.
Try to get you to volunteer or sign up for everything under the sun.
Judge you.
Act like you don’t belong.
